Stefan Rottner – The Athlete

In my spare time I like to be active: I go running, ride my racing bike and I not only watch football, but play it myself. I also love to cook and turned my hobby into a career.

My motto is "the journey is the destination". Since I turned 50, I have set my sights on a special goal each year, for which I prepare myself each day: a half-marathon, a hike over the Alps or a climb to the top of Kilimanjaro.

In 1985, I took over the Romantik Hotel Gasthaus Rottner from my parents and I look forward to turning it over to the next generation.

Max-Morlock Stadium

As a fan of Bayern-Muenchen, you know your team will win 95 % of all of its matches. As a fan of the Nuremberg Club, you don't know what to expect. Every visit to the stadium is an adventure. Because I play football myself, I am always there with enthusiasm, faith and passion for my team.

Hainberg

Only 10 minutes away from our Gasthaus is the former military training area Hainberg. Today, it is a nature conservation area and jogging there is a perfect way to relax, get away from it all and be active at the same time.

Old Bridge

I always think of the area around the old Großreuth Bridge in connection with my childhood. I went sledding there in the winter and my father used to hunt nearby. Today, it's one of my favorite places. When I go there I'm always full of positive thoughts and memories. In good times and bad, the place helps me gather positive energy.

Our hotel is located southwest of town in ”Großreuth bei Schweinau”. You are able to reach easily the medieval city of town, the airport or even the trade fair centre within 30 minutes by car or public transport. 37 modern guest rooms are offering the comfort you expect in a 4-star-hotel.
