Overnight accommodations may only be provided by hotels, lodging establishments, school hostels, youth hostels, campsites and all other commercial or paid accommodations for credibly necessary purposes, in particular for professional and business purposes. Overnight accommodations for tourist purposes are prohibited.

No, because tourist bus tours are prohibited.

The current limits on contact and rules of social distancing continue to apply. Everyone is required to reduce physical contact to others and maintain a limited and consistent group of contacts. When possible, one should maintain a minimum distance of 1.5 meters between individuals.

Currently, sharing of space in public is permitted between members of the same household, married couples, civil partners, non-married partners, direct relatives, siblings, one person of one one other household.

Theaters, operas, concert halls, stages, cinemas and similar facilities are closed.

Opening of retail stores with customer traffic for trade, service and craft businesses prohibited.

Food stores including direct marketing, delivery services, beverage markets, health food stores, baby stores, pharmacies, medical supply stores, drugstores, opticians, hearing aid acousticians, gas stations, car repair shops, bicycle repair shops, banks and savings banks, pawn shops, mail order and mail-order businesses are excluded, dry cleaners and laundromats, nurseries, hardware stores, press sales, insurance agencies, bookstores, pet supplies and feed, and other essential stores and wholesalers.

Click and collect of pre-ordered goods is permitted.

Catering establishments of any kind, including company canteens, are prohibited. The distribution and delivery of take-away food and beverages is permitted.

At the moment the NÜRNBERG CARD is not redeemable because the tourist services are closed and tourist overnight stays are not allowed.

Museums, exhibitions, memorials,Gardens and Lakes and comparable cultural sites as well as zoological and botanical gardens are closed.

No. City Tours are prohibited.

Face masks (mouth-and-nose coverings) are required in certain situations: In local public transportation, in long-distance public transportation, in planes and in shops and other business establishments.

In addition, masks are compulsory wherever people congregate more closely or for longer periods: in all public buildings, in heavily frequented areas such as pedestrian zones, and in the public areas.  Overview of places in Nuremberg's Old Town where masks are compulsory from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
