According to an online portal poll 2018, the Christmas market on Fürther Freiheit may be the most popular one in Bavaria. There are more than 40 booths with gift ideas, Christmas tree decorations and sweets and children are looking forward to carousel, railway and the "living crib" with donkeys and goats. Right next to the Christmas market is the medieval market with craftsmen, traders and a stage program with fire games and music. The Altstadt-Weihnacht delights for 10 days during Advent with its cosy atmosphere, craft stalls and Christmas treats in the old town of Fürth.
