Responsibilities & Goals
Our task is to position Nuremberg as an attractive destination for city tourism on an international scale and to enhance tourism in Nuremberg. To guarantee a successful tourism marketing for Nuremberg, it is important to communicate the strengths and opportunities in Nuremberg outwards, in order to create a strong and persuasive image for Nuremberg for both private and business travelers. Our most important tasks include:
1. Marketing
- Tourism marketing for Nuremberg via various marketing channels (publications, online-marketing, sales promotion, press and public relations, NurembergConvention)
- Tourism market research
- Cooperation marketing (DZT, TVF, DTV, GCB...)
2. Services
- Comprehensive services before and during visits from guests (including information and recommendations, providing information, sales of the NurembergCard)
- Booking of city tours for individuals and groups
- Hotel booking services for individuals and groups
- Recommendations for seminar and convention guests (NurembergConvention)
- Operation of two public Tourist Information Offices
We also act as a competence center for our members: We will not only give you advice backed by our long years of experience, but also pass on new ideas and our know-how.
