The Mautkeller in the heart of Nuremberg is the very model of a classic brewhouse. Experience the unique charm of our medieval vaulted cellar dating back to 1498 with its mighty sandstone pillars.

Typical Franconian cuisine classics and modern German "Wirtshaus" dishes are served here, including vegetarian and vegan options. Our house beers, brewed directly on site, simply are a must. They are traditionally produced according to the old art of brewing and are only available here. Try our popular Brauhaus platter, for example, and enjoy a "Seidla" home-brewed Helles or Rotes with it.
