A tradition since 1911
The seat of the gingerbread bakery is in the tradition-steeped Johannis quarter of Nuremberg. Here, you'll find sacks of the finest spices: cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and cardamom. Together with finely-ground almonds and nuts, honey, marzipan, sugar and eggs, they form the basis for Nuremberg "Elisen" Lebkuchen from Fraunholz.
The Nuremberg "Elisen" gingerbread from Fraunholz is baked completely without flour and contains more than 40% almonds and nuts! It's a difference you can taste!
