Water Fountains

In addition to historical fountains, which are often described in guidebooks but whose water is not potable, Nuremberg offers drinking water fountains throughout the city. These are maintained by the local utility N-Ergie AG, which also tests the water quality at regular intervals.

Refill

Do you have your own refillable bottle? Then take advantage of the shops and businesses which have a Refill sticker on their door. The Refill Deutschland concept is easy and handy: Any location with a Refill sticker on the door or window are willing to fill a bottle with tap water free-of-charge. This volunteer initiative hopes to eliminate plastic waste and protect the environment.
