How would you describe Nuremberg in three words?
Germany's largest (and nicest) small town.
In your opinion, which culinary specialties does Nuremberg have that you can't find in other cities of its type?
Cuisine with a history: Bratwurst and gingerbread have existed here since the Middle Ages - virtually unchanged!
What personal dining tip would you give a tourist who is coming to Nuremberg? Is there something a visitor must try?
Naturally Nuremberg bratwurst, gingerbread, "Schäufele" pork shoulder and the Nuremberg craft beers. Here, I especially recommend the beerfrom Schanzenbräu and the Hausbrauerei Altstadthof. Something else that is worth a trip is a visit to Gasthof Fürsattel in Günthersbühl - It's like a trip in a time machine, back to the 1950s.
