Classic Cocktail Courses
At your cocktail course at the Gelbes Haus in Nuremberg, you'll learn all you need to know about the topic of cocktails and mixing them right. Start off by learning more about the history of bars, how a proper bar is stocked and the tools of the bar-keeper's trade. You'll also learn more about why cocktails are served in many different glasses, which liquor fits to which and the many different ways to prepare a cocktail.
After a delicious mid-day snack, you'll do your own mixing and shaking. From a classic martini to a fruity strawberry daiquiri to a creamy coconut kiss, you'll get to know ca. 10 alcoholic and alcohol-free cocktails. And to remember your one-of-a-kind cocktail experience, you'll take certificate from the Gelbes Haus home with you.

Tiki Cocktail Course
Escape! Relax! Enjoy! The Tiki style is a trend that peaked in the late 1950s and early 1960s. Hawaii - which became the 50th US state in 1959 - was the dream destination of every American in the 1950s and the image of paradise on earth.
Tiki is a laidback way to make your way through life. The essence of Tiki is the spirit of the bar: Kick back from the daily grind to enjoy life in a relaxed and comfortable state of mind. The word Tiki describes a mixing style that can be identified in a moment: Rare rum rhapsodies full of complex flavors, fruit aromas which magically transport you exotic destinations and create an amazing, multi-layer eruption of aromas.
At the Gelbes Haus South Seas Cocktail Course you'll mix drinks like the Mai Tai, Zombie, Hurricane, Navy Grog, Rum Runner, Bahama Mama and more.

The minimum age for participants is 18. Alcohol will be sampled in all the courses. We recommend that you arrive and depart using public transportation or a taxi. The courses will take place in German language.
