The regional cuisine of Franconia is the frame of reference for our dishes and menus. From there, we take a culinary look outside the box and combine local ingredients with flavours from all over the world - our experiences in restaurants in Switzerland and New Zealand have left their aromatic mark. We have known our suppliers and producers - farmers, winegrowers and butchers - personally for years and are always delighted with the freshness and top quality of the ingredients.

You can look forward to creative, hearty and fresh dishes with a few surprises. We also like to serve wines from Franconia. Because we believe that Franconia has everything a discerning palate needs. But of course we also have a few drops from other wine regions in our cellar.

The Zirbelstube invites you to linger and has been rewarded with a black toque from Gault-Millau. The culinary magazine "Feinschmecker" recognised the restaurant as one of the best 500 in Germany in 2024. It received a 2 out of 5 star rating and can boast very good cuisine, good service and a pleasant ambience and comfort.
