Ingredients (serves 4):
- 0.2 l Christkindlesmarkt-Glühwein mulled wine
- 0.2 l water
- 0.1 l red wine vinegar
- 5 pepper corns
- 5 allspice corns
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 whole cloves
- 5 juniper berries, crushed
- 1 teaspoon coriander seeds
- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 5 finely chopped shallots
Preparation:
Bring all the ingredients to a boil, add 6-8 Nuremberg bratwurst per person and simmer 10 minutes. "An Goudn", as we say in Franconia!
