Nuremberg's rock-cut cellars - early brewing tradition

Homemade beer and the brewing tradition is the big theme at the start of this tour through the rock-cut cellars. The tour ends with a beer tasting and a visit in the craft brewery "Hausbrauerei Altstadthof".

The tour begins with a look at the rock-cut cellars, where guests will learn something interesting about the history of beer in Nuremberg.

After the cellar tour, guests can sample a beer at the Hausbrauerei Alstadthof and learn more about hops and malt and brewing techniques. the tour ends with a visit to the whisky storehouse and the ProBIER Boutique. Here, guests will learn more about Nuremberg Rotbier - the traditional brew of the city.
