Distributed over eight thematic areas, the interactive exhibit in the Natural History House of the Nuremberg Zoo invites you to come on a voyage of discovery. You'll find out why lizards can so easily swim in sand, how a spider makes its impressive web, what makes a shark swim so fast and what it looks like when robots dance. Young and the young-at-heart can go on an expedition in the children's world and interactive stations invite everyone to experiment.
Bionic Tours
The Bionicum has even more to offer. At various stations in the Nuremberg Zoo, the animals themselves show what kind of bionics they use. This voyage of discovery leads from the giraffe house and the dolphin lagoon to the birds of prey and leopards and on to the penguins and seals in the Aqua Park. Come and explore!
The Bionicum is open daily from 9 am to 4.15 pm. A visit is free of charge for guests of the Nuremberg Zoo.
Notice: The Bionicum will be closed due to construction works from October 7, 2024 until Christmas 2024.
