The accessibility requirements arise from Sections 3 (paragraphs 1 to 4) and 4 of the German Ordinance on Accessible Information Technology (BITV) 2.0, issued on the basis of Section 12d of the Act on Equal Opportunities for Persons with Disabilities (BGG).

The accessibility of the website tourismus.nuernberg.de was assessed in a BITV self-test conducted by an external service provider, based on BITV 2.0 and the Bavarian Digital Ordinance (BayDiV), taking into account the requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1.

Enforcement Procedure

If you do not receive a response to your accessibility enquiry within six weeks, you may submit an application to the Landesamt für Digitalisierung, Breitband und Vermessung (LDBV), the responsible enforcement body, to review compliance with accessibility requirements. The State Office will examine whether measures are required for the website operator.
