Provider: Hallo Nuremberg!

"Join us on an exciting tour of discovery through Nuremberg's history – deliberately stepping off the beaten path, away from classic tourist magnets like the Imperial Castle, Albrecht Dürer's House, or the Christmas Market.

Did you know that in 1790, Mozart wrote: 'We had breakfast in Nuremberg, a hideous city'? At that time, as a result of the Thirty Years' War, the city was impoverished and had fallen into obscurity. The turning point only came in 1835 with the launch of Germany's first railway. Nuremberg flourished once again, prompting the writer Adalbert Stifter to later praise it as 'a true complete work of art' and the most beautiful city he had ever seen.

Beyond this well-known transformation, we will also take you into another, often overlooked chapter: the hidden, medieval Nuremberg."
