DATEV Challenge Roth

July 5, 2026

The DATEV Challenge Roth, the largest long-distance triathlon event worldwide, will take place again in 2026 in Roth. This sport spectacle with ca. 3,400 individual competitors and 650 teams from more than 60 nations has had a secure place in the event calendar of the region for more than 30 years.

Classic Open Air Nuremberg

July 26 and August 8, 2026

Classical music by candlelight in a park, over a glass of red wine, cheese and grapes: What could be better? In July and August you can experience just that, listening to Nuremberg’s orchestras at the Classic Open Air.

Bardentreffen Nuremberg (Meeting of the Bards)

The Old Town will be a joyful stage for the Bardentreffen Music Festival. For four days music from all over the world will fill the streets of Nuremberg during the famous Bardentreffen music festival.

SommerNachtFilmFestival

The SommerNachtFilmFestival got its start in Desi, more than a quarter century ago. Today, the open air showings with their special atmosphere are an important part of the summer cultural calendar in Nuremberg, Fürth and Erlangen.
