Nuremberg has been an important brewing city for centuries; whether it is pale ale, dark beer or a genuine red beer - there is something for everyone's taste. Visit underground Nuremberg where fine specialties made from hops and malt are stored even today, and the small Old Town brewery where you are served home brewed beer and our own distilled spirits along with a Franconian "Brotzeit" (bread, cold cuts and cheese on a wooden plate).
In the Hausbrauerei Altstadthof, everything is inspired by beer and brewing. That's why the menu of the brew pub contains specialties using hops and malt. Reinhard Engel has given us an exklusive: One of his very unique recipes. We wish you lots of fun in the kitchen!
