REQUIREMENTS AND GUIDELINES FOR LEISURE ACTIVITIES WITH A SEVEN-DAY-AVERAGE BETWEEN 50 AND 100

Requirements for a visit to the Nuremberg Zoo:

  • Prior online registration.
  • A FFP2 mask is necessary for persons over 16, children aged 6 to 16 must wear an OP mask.
  • Collection of your contact data.
  • No negative rapid antigen test is necessary.

Requirements for participation in a city tour:

  • Stable seven-day-average under 100.
  • A current negative test a (less than 48-hours-old PCR test, less than 24-hours-old rapid antigen test, self-test in front of a designated agent), as long as the seven-day-average remains above 50.

Requirements for a visit to a swimming pool:

  • Stable seven-day-average under 100.
  • Prior ticket booking at www.nuernbergbad.de.
  • Negative test (when the seven-day-average is between 50 and 100). If you are fully vaccinated or recovered, no test is required.
  • Social distancing and masks are required in the pool area.

Five basic rules for safety which are always and everywhere helpful:

Keep a minimum distance of 1.5 meters from people from other households.

Avoid shaking hands.

Wear a mask which covers your mouth and nose

Wash your hands frequently.

Sneeze or cough only in your elbow or in a tissue.

The zoologic and botanic park and gardens are open to the public with the following requirements:

Swimming pools in Nuremberg may open as of May 27 as the seven-day-average is stable under 100.

Requirements:

  • Prior ticket booking at www.nuernbergbad.de.
  • Social distancing and mask requirements in the pool areas.

For each pool there are three different time slots which may be booked.

The Playmobil Funpark is open.

Clubs, discos and other places of entertainment and similar locations for leisure activities are closed.

Outdoor playgrounds are open for children if they are accompanied by an adult. The adults are required to avoid sitting together and are asked to supervise the children so that they maintain the appropriate distances.

Operation of amusement parks, indoor play spaces and other similar leisure centers is forbidden.

Fitness studios may open for non-contact sports as of May 21, when the seven-day-average is stable under 100. Required is a negative test for users and hygiene regulations (social distancing, FFP2 masks with exceptions for sports activities). No tests will be required if the seven-day-average falls under 50.
