The Restaurant Opatija has been located in the Old Town of Nuremberg since 1964. In Nuremberg, it is known as the place to go for fine dining and would like to remain the city's "nicest living room" in the future.

Since 2016, the restaurant has a new face, the dedicated restaurateur Bozidar Jug. As the new head of the restaurant, he has worked many new ideas with his usual passion and warmth. Regular guests of the house love the crepes filled with nuts, cream cheese or freshly-whipped zabaglione. However Opatija would not be Opatija without its Balkan grilled specialties such as cevapcici, raznjici, a mixed grilled platter or calves' liver with Djuvec rice, Kajmak cheese, onions and Ajvar.
