Combining architectural and geographical with mobile cultural assets - this year's edition of the Altmühltal Classic Sprint is making this cultural mission of classic car tourism its own even more clearly than in previous years.
Start at the Kongresshalle (Congress Hall - Volksfestplatz)
The start of the cultural trip will be on June 18 in the historical surroundings of the Nuremberg Kongresshalle (Congress Hall). The only international classic car rally in Nuremberg thus not only offers its group of participants an attractive environment, but also systematically introduces them to the city's eventful and extraordinarily complex history. There is, on the one hand, the monumental architecture of the 1930s and, on the other hand, the Human Rights Road, with which the city makes its special obligation in this sector visible.
The Classic Sprint myth meets the Norisring (Racetrack)
The next place of worship in the program is the Steintribüne at the Norisring, where the starting flag will fall on June 19 at 8:00 a.m. Political history and sporting modernity are combined here in a unique way, after all, the ADAC Norisring Speed Weekend with the annual German Touring Car Masters competition is an unbroken magnet in motorsport events. More than 80 years of automotive history among the participating vehicles, embedded in the historic buildings on the site - this connection is probably unique worldwide. For the audience (admission free) there are very emotional and irretrievable impressions that transport them back to bygone times and allow them to participate in the myth of historical mobility. Become part of the myth of this rally, whether as a starter or as a spectator.
