The most important art work in the town remained untouched during the Reformation and can be seen today in its churches. During the year in which Germany celebrates the ramp up to the Reformation, Nuremberg will focus on this aspect of its history, as the city played a leading role in the spread of the Reformation through its "media".
Major projects focus on the following key themes:
- "Germany’s Eye and Ear. Nuremberg as Media Center of the Reformation " from April 23 to October 31, 2015 in the City Museum Fembohaus
- "Black Art. White Art. Print and Paper in Nuremberg " from June 18 to October 11, 2015 in the Museum of Industrial Culture
