PETER ANGERMANN - Illumination of the Imperial Castle

Septemer 8 to 12, 2021

The Franconian artist Peter Angermann illuminates the Imperial Castle of Nuremberg with his projection „NO RISK. NO FUN.“.

Simulation der Burgprojektion von Peter Angermann

Well-known in the international art scene, he is the (co-)founder of the "Nuremberg school" and professor at the Städelschule in Frankfurt a. M. and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Nuremberg. Angermann still has a large influence on local artists and designers. His projection at the front of the castle deals with subjects like artificial intelligence, beauty obsession, our greed for money or love, age and youth. In addition to the illumination, a making-of exhibition will be taking place at Kunstverein Kohlenhof, a gallery in the heart of the city of Nuremberg run on a voluntary basis.
