They have been celebrating their "Bergkirchweih" for over 250 years and, of course, a special festival beer, the "Bergbier" is part of that wonderful tradition.

Erlanger Bergkirchweih

The Bergkirchweih area is located in the northern extremities of the town of Erlangen and is roughly a kilometer long. It contains beer cellars, booths and rides - a huge Ferris wheel is the Berch's traditional landmark. This festival is going to draw thousands of visitors and changes the Burgberg into a place with music, beer and dancing. Enjoy the special charm of the Bergkirchweih with a cool beer and franconian specialities.
