The largest North Bavarian Folk festivals have a colourful program for both the young and the young at heart. In the festival area around the Dutzendteich scores of carnival rides, and thrill rides can be found, together with a wide variety of other ways to enjoy ones self and relax. The festival for rock music fans of all ages. This open air festival, one of the largest in Germany is over the three days host to some 70 bands performing on 3 different stages. Line up 2009: Mando Diao, The Killers, Billy Talent, Placebo, Korn, Marilyn Manson and many more.

The oldest and largest festival of sacred or spiritual music is today a resplendent musical experience in the historical setting of the Old Town of Nuremberg and musical highlight of the year. From the 3rd June until 13th June 2010 well known organists, renowned international soloists, choirs and orchestras will be performing spiritual music in the historical churches in the Old Town of Nuremberg.
