If the hustel and bustle of the large Christmas markets is too much fo you, the association "Erlebnis Nürnberg" offers you small "Christmas enclaves" along the main shopping thoroughfares of the Nuremberg city centre.
For visitors and Nuremberg residents who are not in the city for their Christmas shopping, "Erlebnis Nürnberg", the Association of Inner City Retailers, has set up Christmas enclaves in the Ludwigsplatz, the Königstraße and Karolinenstraße. They are there so that you can simply take a break from shopping and enjoy some Nuremberg cosiness as you eat fried sausages, gingerbread, fresh pancakes, roasted almonds an mulled wine.
