Entry to the Augustinerstraße via Hallertor for tourist buses WITHOUT a special permit is prohibited year-round, daily from 9 am - 6 pm.
We therefore ask you to use the bus parking places at the Vestnertorgraben or in the Grasersgasse.
Entry to the Augustinerstraße is only possible under the following conditions:
Entry with a tour guide on board:
Tourist coaches with a tour guide from the "Verein der Gästeführer e.V." or from "Geschichte für Alle e.V." on board may enter the Augustinerstraße. The tour guides from the above mentioned organizations carry with them a special permit and can issue an access permit.
Entry to restaurants, hotels and museums:
For restaurant, hotel and museum visits (without a tour guide on board) a free-of-charge special permit must be obtained in advance from the Nuremberg Convention and Tourist Office (CTZ). Requests can be made by the restaurant, hotel, museum or the tour operator by presenting a copy of the booking confirmation.
The special permit gives authorization for guests to exit or enter a coach at the bus lane in the Augustinerstraße. The permit is valid only for the confirmed date and is limited to a maximum stopping time of 10 minutes. Personnel will be monitoring bus traffic at the site. Their instructions must be followed.
